Botanical Gardens in October

Fest-of-Ale

Date: October 4, 11, 18 & 25
Time: Every Thursday, 6 - 10 p.m.

Thursday nights get especially lively at Fest-of-Ale featuring a fine selection of specialty beers each week for $3.50 per bottle (high gravity & Guinness beers are $5). The indoor/outdoor event will be held in the Parterre Garden and Exhibit Hall, but visitors are welcome to stroll the Garden and enjoy the Scarecrows in the Garden and David Rogers' Big Bugs & Killer Plants exhibits throughout the evening while enjoying live music. Seasonal foods available for purchase will top off the evening. Fest-of-Ale visitors are invited to bring flashlights to explore the Woodlands scarecrows after dark!

Admission is free for Garden members, regular admission for non-members. Off-site parking will be available at the Colony Square Parking Deck, located on 14th Street, for $5 per car with free shuttle service to and from the Garden. Rain or shine.
