By the seashore!

Our team and the Romanians arrived safely here in Halkadiki, Greece. Very smooth travel, except for the moment that Mark almost got body slammed by a Athens police officer when he realized that he had left his passport on the plane and tried to go back to the airport tram to retrieve it. Evidently that makes police officers very nervous. Not to worry, Mark was handed his passport before he even went through customs.

Halkadiki is a tourist town and we are hearing languages from all over Europe...and for some reason there is a plethora of fur coat stores. No kidding. For some reason a seaside town and fur stores go together here - and from the looks of it, they are doing pretty well for themselves.

We had our first dinner and meeting with the Romanians and even with translating there was a lot of laughter and excitement over this week. For some of the Romanians it is their first time out of the country and the first time to see the sea.

Off to get some gelato and fall into bed!
