**News Flash**
Ladies and gentlemen, what you see below is my first attempt at a pecan pie made from scratch. Very news worthy in my opinion. 
News worthy because the impetus to bake said pie came after a long work day (I believe Amy asked what I had been drinking when I told her my plans at 4:30 yesterday afternoon) and since I had never ventured down this culinary road. Of course, I am glad to report it is very tasty and delicious, now I just need to find some willing souls to help me eat it...
