What's Not To Love?

Loves to cuddle...
We have been saving up for a new camera and it arrived last night!  Needless to say, we've been playing with it non-stop.  And look at what great pictures it takes...even in low light.  Of course, the subject is super-cute, but the camera is still fantastic.  I haven't edited any of these, so they could possibly become even better...

I would kill to have those lashes...

Kong toy filled with pb = quiet afternoon...

Working on our tricks...veeeery focused on the treat.

Wow! Those are great Meliss! What kind of camera is it? We need a new one too... kids have thrown it across the room one too many times!

We were saving up for a few months on this one Shay - it's not cheap, but we were looking for the great shots of a Digital SLR but still be compact that we would get it out regularly and use it on trips and every day moments. We didn't think that was as likely with a BIG SLR. This is essentially an SLR with interchangeable lenses.

Actually, what might be a better fit for y'all (what with kids throwing cameras around!) is the one that I got Hunt a couple years ago. It is also Panasonic Lumix and takes awesome pictures for a point and shoot. It is waterproof, dust-proof, shockproof (can be dropped and it won't mess it up internally) and is small enough to fit in a jean pocket easily. This is the latest version: http://reviews.cnet.com/digital-cameras/panasonic-lumix-dmc-ts3/4505-6501_7-34505751.html#reviewPage1

We have loved this camera - fun to take it into the water at the beach or pool!

What do you do with Chloe when you go out of town? Did you have to board her?

Alli,

We take her if we can, but we board her if we can't. The husband and wife team that run the obedience class I am doing with Chloe also doing boarding on their farm, so she's having a vacation and playing with other puppies and getting loved on. :)
