So did you take advantage of "Cyber Monday?" Did you snatch up those deals online and get out of paying tax and shipping? I love when our consumer culture creates new holidays and traditions. Of course, it's great that people are out there buying and spending...in fact, spending on Black Friday increased by 1% over last year's numbers. Not great, but not in the negative range either.
In recent months I've been introduced to and discovered several great websites to help you find those deals whether you're shopping on a cyber Monday or on a terrifically typical Tuesday.
Pricegrabber - enter in the product number or keyword for the item your looking for and find comparison pricing and the ability to sign up for emails when the pricing drops.
Smarter - compare top merchants along with reviews to get the best deal online.
Dealtime - has a great comparison engine and returns many listed retailers for each product.
Retailmenot - I've been using this site to find online coupon codes that you can use at different retailers, and they often work very well. They are rated by their success rate and has saved me a lot of money over time.
Dealio - a site in beta stage right now, but it seems easy to use to find coupons for different retailers.
